Bridge Bearing Pads & Isolation Pads

Characteristics:

This custom-molded product is manufactured with 100% rubber for plain elastomeric bearing pads or made up of alternating rubber layers and steel plates for laminated elastomeric bearing pads.

The addition of an external Teflon? layer, together with a polished stainless steel plate, convert this product to a sliding bearing.

Bridge bearing pads are manufactured from crystallisation resistant high grade natural rubber (40 to 70 Shore A hardness) complying to the following requirements:

• AASHTO - American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials
• BRITISH STANDARD BS 5400 Part 9
• CAN/CSA - Canadian Standards Association
• MTO - Ministry of Transportation for Ontario
• AREMA - American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association
• ASTM D-4014 - American Society for Testing and Materials
