THE FLEX-STEP COVER

Ice formation in stairways can cause serious injuries. In order to fix it, Produits Hévéa Inc. is proud to introduce its innovative product: the Flex-Step step cover.

Made of rubber, the step cover waffles remain flexible up to -40 Celsius.

A footstep pressure can break and shake ice out, substantially reducing the risks of falls, without having to use abrasives (salt or calcium).

The Flex-Step step cover can also be installed indoors, and can significantly reduce noise.

For the installation of Flex-Step you will need the following:

For metal stair cases :
Stainless steel 3/16" self drilling screw Or Stainless steel bolt 3/16", washer and nut.

For Wood step :
Stainless steel screw 3/16".

For concrete step :
Concrete screw 3/16" in stainless steel (From Tapcon or other company).

THE FLEX-STEP COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL STEP COVER

The waffle rubber step cover that offers an effective solution to hazards caused by ice and snow accumulations on your steps.

This step cover (26" x 8") made of rubber, provides several benefits:

  • Flexibility in very cold weathers (up to -40º C)
  • Ice does not usually stick to rubber, so no effort is required to de-ice
  • Less snow accumulation because of its black color which absorbs sun rays
  • Permanent installation (indoor and outdoor stairways)
  • Total elimination of noise in indoor stairways
  • Very clean
  • Decreased risks of falls caused by ice conditions
  • Increased durability of the steps′ good condition: no need to use salt
  • Easy maintenance: gets clean with a broom

COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL CARPET

Along with the step cover, we also offer the Flex-Step carpet.

Made from waffle Recyclérubber, it has the same caracteristics and advantages of flexibility and durability as the step cover. Easy to install and to maintain, it offers an effective solution to snow and ice accumulations in galleries.

The Flex Step carpet is currently offered in these dimensions (30" X 42" X 3/8")
